A poultry house with a compartmentalized weight measuring system was added to Hosoya Poultry Research Institute Co.

Affiliated with Hellmann in Germany and started to deal in upright breeding and chicken cage systems with a fecal dry-belt system.

Awarded the First Technology Award for the development of ultra energy-saving broiler flat-breeding shed by the Japan Poultry Science Society.
Completed 4 rooms in a two-story broiler house.
Completed GP expansion work. Introduction of light-based egg packers.

Established HOSOYA-SEISAKUJO Ltd. to manufacture and sell automatic feeding machines, and also engaged in poultry farming to promote research.

Moved the poultry farming division to Yozou Yamashita (13,000㎡) in Ayase City and established Hosoya Chicken Farming Co. Production and sales of flat-deck style poultry farming equipment was started.

HOSOYA-SEISAKUJO Ltd. merged with Hosoya Chicken Farm Ltd. to become the Poultry Management Research Institute to carry out more substantial testing and research.

Expansion and renovation of Hosoya Poultry Research Institute was completed, increasing the total number of birds raised to 180,000 and the annual egg production capacity to 2,500 tons.

Awarded by the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun for the device for weight tracking of egg-laying hens. Developed a poultry manure fermentation system and started to sell it.

Succeeded in the development of a separate calcium feeding system and started selling it.

Completed a deodorizing device that removes ammonia, the source of bad odors. Succeeded in making the farm odorless.

Hosoya Poultry Research Farm established an off-line GP center with a livestock cluster subsidy. At this time, the farm was renamed Kikukawa Farm and GP Center was renamed Kikukawa GP Center.
